1. It was a very hot day. Ellie the little elephant walked to the river.
2. Ellie filled her long trunk with cool water. Splash! She felt happy.

4. "We have no water," said the rabbit. Ellie thought for a moment.
5. Ellie shared her water. Whoosh! The rabbit hopped and the bird sang.
