The letter T (small t) is called “T” and usually makes the sound “Tuh”. Common first words are Tiger, Tree, Train.
Say the name first, then the sound, then a word: “T… T for Tiger”. Ask your child to repeat it, find something at home that starts with T, and then trace the letter. Read more in our guide to teaching the alphabet.
